The Cambridges stepped out on Saturday for the wedding of longtime friend Sophie Carter to Robert Snuggs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👑Who Is Sophie Carter?👑 Sophie has been in the inner circle for years, showing up at family weddings and vacations for years. In addition to being connected to the Cambridges through Kate, Sophie used to date Prince William’s best friend Thomas van Straubenzee. In fact, both of them were named godparents to Princess Charlotte. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, it’s no surprise that George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, were members of the bridal party as pageboy and bridesmaid, respectively. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👑The Event👑 The wedding took place at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk. Prince Charles wore a classic morning coat. Sophie Carter wore a high-necked, lace-embellished gown and scalloped veil. If and when designer information becomes available, I’ll add it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Kate Middleton rewore a familiar coat dress by Catherine Walker that just so happened to match the childrens’ ensembles perfectly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She accessorized with a blue Kiki McDonough necklace and earrings. Her floral headband (not dissimilar to the one she chose for Prince Louis’s christening) is by Juliette Botterill. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👑George & Charlotte Steal The Show (Again)👑 This is the 3rd wedding Charlotte and George have participated in this year, so they’re old pros at this point. That might explain why they seemed especially playful, getting into all kinds of shenanigans. Charlotte smiled for photogs (when she felt like it), and George sneakily stuck out his tongue at the camera. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All in all, it looked like a normal family outing to the wedding of a close friend—minus the paparazzi, of course.
